Meru National Park

Meru National Park is unspoiled, wild, and beautiful. Fed by 13 rivers, including river Tana, Meru National park is complete wilderness. The Park is ideal for guests looking for something off-the-beaten-track and is well known for its birdlife, riverine and forest as well as the dry arid species. This is where the South meets the North as the Park straddles the Equator. You will, therefore, have a chance to see both the Big Five and the Special five.

Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Meru National Park.

Depart from Nairobi in the Morning after breakfast and drive to a place where the north meets the south: the Meru National Park. We arrive in time for lunch, check-in to our rooms then later relax before the evening game drive.

Day 2: Explore Meru National Park

We will spend a full day in the Meru National Park in the morning and afternoon game drive. Meru wildlife includes large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Eland, Elephant, Gazelle, Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck and Gravy Zebra.
Meru National Park is one of the two areas where the conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the lioness made famous in the bestselling book and award-winning movie Born free.

Day 3: Meru to Nairobi Drive

This morning, you will have an option of indulging in a pre-breakfast game drive before going back to the camp for a sumptuous breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en-route to arrive early in the evening.
