Amboseli and Tsavo Tour: 4 Days
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart from a Nairobi hotel and drive across the home of the Maasai community to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this park known as the elite of Kenya’s National Parks and also framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Today we enjoy an early morning game and late evening game drives in this secluded heart of the big game country. Its signature attraction is the sight of big-tusked elephants. Expect also to see Antelopes, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Experience the wonderful views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and take photos of the wildlife against the background of the Mountain.
Day 3: Amboseli – Drive to Tsavo West National Park
Wake up to melodious songs of birds chirrup, hyenas laugh, crickets chirp, frogs croak, lion roar, and zebras bray as they all join together in the animals' band. You will witness this while on an early morning game drive. Return back to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
We will later drive to Tsavo West National park arriving in time for lunch.
After check-in and lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this vast Park known for natural wonders like Shetani lava flow, Mzima springs, and roaring rocks. Mzima springs in Tsavo West is a hidden gem and a must-visit. Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808sq km (8,034sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops.
With a permanent water source, the park virtually guarantees enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard, and Hyena and a herd of over 3,500 Elephants.
Day 4: Tsavo West National Park – Drive to Nairobi
After an early morning exploration of the park followed by breakfast, depart by road to Nairobi with game viewing en-route. Arrive in time for late lunch.
